About Byosom
BYOSOM makes skincare formulated from your DNA.Most "personalized" skincare recommends existing products from a catalog based on a questionnaire. BYOSOM works differently: we analyze your genetics, then manufacture a serum and cream for that profile alone. The thinking behind it is straightforward. Your skin already has the machinery to look after itself. Collagen production, antioxidant defense, hydration, barrier strength: these are functions your body carries out every day, and your genetics influence how efficiently each one runs. Where a function runs below full capacity, that is usually where visible aging shows first, and why two people the same age, using the same products, can look entirely different. Rather than layering on more actives and hoping, we look at how your particular functions perform, then formulate for the ones that need support. It starts with a painless at-home cheek swab. Your sample is analyzed in a CLIA-certified United States laboratory, where our GENYQ technology reads eight genes linked to skin aging, among them MMP1, COL1A1 and SOD2. You receive a personalized skin report covering collagen, hydration, antioxidant defense and sensitivity, plus a face serum and face cream formulated to your results. Turnaround is 14 to 21 business days. Our formulas are tested by an independent accredited cosmetics laboratory, in dermatologist-supervised studies on women aged 35 to 55, under EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) 1223/2009. Instrumental measurement recorded a 50% increase in skin hydration one hour after a single application and 28% after four weeks, with no irritation reported in any of the 20 participants. In February 2025, BYOSOM was assessed as a global-level innovation under OECD/Eurostat Oslo Manual standards.Every order includes free two-way shipping and a 30-day money-back guarantee. We never sell your genetic data, and you can request deletion at any time.
