I strongly do not recommend using buyfloridaspecialtyplates.com. I ordered my Florida license plate and vehicle registration through this service, and the experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish. The shipment containing my plate and registration was lost by the postal service, something that USPS itself officially confirmed. Despite having written proof that the package was lost, the only response I received from this company was that I had to “keep waiting,” with no concrete solution offered. The situation worsened when I contacted them by phone. Each time, the representatives were unhelpful and failed to provide any real assistance or alternative, such as a replacement shipment or expedited resolution. Most concerning was the incorrect legal information I was given. I sent an email asking whether I could continue driving using my expired registration and plate while waiting for the replacement. They explicitly told me that I could. However, when I verified this information with my local police department, I was told the exact opposite: driving with an expired registration is not legal and could result in serious legal consequences. Due to the risk of fines and legal trouble, I was forced to go in person to a local tax collector office to obtain my plate and registration directly, something I should not have had to do after already paying this company. I am now in the process of disputing the charge and requesting a refund through my credit card. In summary, this service provided poor customer support, no accountability, and misleading information that could have caused legal problems. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company and handle their Florida vehicle registration directly through official local offices instead.
