Hello! You purchased our most heavy weight armor and that jacket is a winter insulated piece of clothing. The armor will become dramatically less visible with break-in, but if you need something light and thin, we have several better options. Give us a call! We can get you something else.
11/22/2021 (4:02PM CST)- Its been exactly 8 days since I've ordered and gotten no status update what so ever. I've called (about 3 times), emailed (about 2), and submitted a form (once) to no avail, which is very frustrating because this is a gift for someone I love and I know he would enjoy this. I really want this product. I love to support American owned businesses but the customer service from this company needs a lot of work. Also please consider updating estimated shipping times on the website its very vague. This is a good amount of money I spent and quite frankly would like to know the status of the product. Hopefully some one will get back to me soon so I can update this to have a positive ending

Update: This was delivered on time! Thank you Nakiia. Please update when you have a chance. Hi Nakiia, I'm not sure what the issue is, but your name comes up on a list of spam email accounts and none of them have gone through. The IIIA items have a ten day lead time at the moment. That number used to be on a generator that would automatically update next to the price, but our site host has broken that function. We're hoping to have it fixed this week. Your order is due to ship this coming Wednesday and you will receive tracking automatically via UPS when it goes out. I've added your name to the safe senders list, but if you can't get us on email, facebook and instagram are both very quick on response time. Thank you for your patience.
I never received the product.

Hi Doc, Your tracking says it was delivered on August 6th at 11:52AM. The tracking was emailed as well as uploaded to your account. I'm sending you and our UPS rep an email now. Edit: The case has been started and we CC'd you on the paperwork and status updates.
I purchased the bullet proof sweatshirt. I wanted to see if it was in fact bullet proof. I hung it over a ladder. I shot a clip from a 9mm glock from 15ft into the sweatshirt. The bullets went through the front and back of the shirt as well as through the ladder rungs and into a solid wood door. If i was wearing it I would be dead. The owner shooting himself had to have used a lighter gunpowder load. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but your enemies. I have pics for proof of everything in saying. If anyone would like to see. Has anyone else had this issue? Its better to find out before you actually need the vest to work. My other concern is if I send it back to the company they will destroy the vest. No vest no proof. My goal is to save lives. This vest does the exact opposite. I edited it because after the first post I realized there was more i needed to say. You think I should be concerned about the $600 I spent. I'm concerned that the product doesn't do the job. I could care less about the $600 that I spent if it keeps even one customer from buying your product and essentially saving their life in the process.

You've edited this several times now. You won't call us back. You won't email us pictures or video. You bought two items and didn't even attempt to return or replace either, nor did you even call us after you shot it. You said nothing until asked for a review six months later. If I spent $600 on armor that failed, I'd be throwing a fit. Where are the pictures or ANYTHING? You can post here but can't email pictures... --- Original message: Shawn, we just tried to call you. We've never had a failure before. You shot it with a whole magazine? The IIA armor is rated to six shots at 2 inches apart, but it will usually take three in the same spot before letting something through. If you shoot an entire magazine into the same area, it is going to fail. It just isn't meant for that. But, we need to know exactly what happened. Through the front and back sounds impossible. What ammo are you using? Why haven't you contacted us? This is serious, please call us. Edit: Thank you for emailing us back. We look forward to you calling when you get back in town and sending us any pictures, hopefully we can get the armor back as well. It would be best if we can examine it. 2nd Edit: Still waiting on the phone call or photos. Really, we need to get this back. Last edit: At this point I have no idea what your motivation is. You won't call. You won't email. You won't send a single photo. We've contacted the National Institute of Justice so someone can examine your armor. We have sent you a prepaid label to return it to Oregon Ballistic Laboratories. This is real life, not a joke. You make a claim, you have to prove it.
Never got my order from you! Payed and got nothing!

Hi Francesco. Your tracking says it was delivered to Italy over six months ago and as far as I can tell, I don't have any emails from you or the person in Germany who purchased it. I just sent the purchaser and UPS an email to see if there is additional information. If you can, send him an email and CC us on it.
I am a 3 time returning customer only for the product and design. Only reasonable communication is your initial order confirmation. The lead time is ridiculously endless. Their customer service never update your order. A customer is supposedly able to check on status of their order but they never update their progress. After several emails they finally respond with only noncredible excuses. One excuse is they are so busy with new orders they do not have enough tailors to assemble their outer clothing. It almost made me feel I wanted to ask if their assembly workers were hauled away by INS. Another excuse was their armor raw materials are on a ship at sea enroute to a U.S. port. Blah blah blah. After a while on the last and 3rd order I just gave up and 67 days later I received my order. I received that order 95 days from date of order. Their initial lead time on time of order was 3-4 weeks. More lies than half truths. Order at your own risk. If you already have ballistic protection for daily wear than you'll definitely appreciate your oder only once you do receive it.

Hi Ben! The company has changed a lot in the last year. Every piece of armor is 100% USA made as opposed to our old armor that was sourced from Italy. Our lead times are substantially shorter, most of the time just one or two days, and customer service has improved tremendously. If you ever come back, we'll take good care of you. I guarantee it.
Disappointed in the poor quality of the outer vest

Mike, Well that isn't a comment we get often at all. The Freedom is meant to be super lightweight, is there something in particular? We would have gladly done an exchange or refund if you had let us known. Have you got any use out of it? There could still be options. Send us an email, we'll do whatever we can.
Basically, they buy someone else’s jacket and sew some panels to it. I am not impressed with the fit or construction. If you are over weight and have a “big” belly, it might fit you. In response to their reply, I reached out to them. I was told “ALL” cancellations or returns, even before the item shipped would incur a restocking fee. They said everything was custom made and that they had over 750 on order. So, what are the chances that not (1) of the 750 that they said were on order wouldn’t be for a size xl that they could expedite for someone else? With the crap they speak they need to go into politics.

We no longer have a restocking fee and I'm not sure if I was clear, I meant we can still help you. The company has changed a lot in the past year. Hello! The photos and description are very clear about what the clothing is and how it is put together, but they have also evolved quite a lot in the last year since you ordered. We could have done a return or exchange if you told us! :) Tailoring is free and we've got a quite a few more options now. The sizing and fitment is super important to get the right look and feel.
