BowlerStore Sent Unwearable Shoes and Refused to Replace or Exchange
I ordered a pair of semi-custom Linds bowling shoes from Bowlerstore using the same size, specifications and colors as a previous pair. The shoes I received were materially different: they were shorter, substantially narrower and unwearable, and differed in color, interior materials, finish, design details, branding and laces. I contacted Bowlerstore promptly and provided side-by-side photographs. I explained that I was not attempting to return a correctly made custom product; my concern was that the shoes did not fit nor conform to what I had reordered. I offered several reasonable solutions, including returning the unworn shoes and applying the purchase amount toward a different replacement shoe sold by Bowlerstore. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the problem, Bowlerstore relied on its policy against returning custom items and did not offer a refund, conforming replacement or alternative exchange. I began trying to resolve this matter in February 2026. Unfortunately, Bowlerstore never meaningfully addressed the documented differences between the shoes I ordered and the shoes I received. Based on my experience with its product and customer service, I cannot recommend ordering from this company.
