Hi Pieter, We’re sorry the trial beeps were annoying and disrupting—that sound is intentionally added to trial versions to prevent unauthorized use, and it doesn’t appear in a fully licensed release. We understand this can frustrating evaluating any software, especially audio plugins are working on a better solution. If you’d like a short term watermark-free version for evaluation or need any help getting set up, please let us know. Best regards, Boris FX Team

Hi Dajo, We are really sorry your experience with our licensing wasn’t clear—that’s absolutely not what we want for our customers. We genuinely regret any confusion or frustration caused. To clarify, your perpetual license does indeed grant you lifetime access to the exact version you purchased—your copy of the software will continue working indefinitely. The option to renew an Upgrade & Support Plan after that first year simply allows us to keep adding new features, fixes, and technical help. If that plan isn’t renewed for over three years, it can’t be reinstated, which means you won’t have access to any future releases beyond what you already own. We realize how upsetting that can feel, and are sorry our policy wasn’t clearer up front. Please know we value your feedback and want to help however we can. If you’d like to discuss any alternatives or have additional questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us via the Boris FX support portal. Your satisfaction matters, and we’d welcome the chance to make this right. Best regards, Boris FX Team

Hi Claudio, We are truly sorry to hear your account was deleted without warning—that’s not how we want anyone to be treated. We understand how maddening it is to lose access after paying, and I apologize for the frustration you’ve experienced. We’d like to investigate exactly what happened. Could you please email us at [email protected] with the email address or username associated with your subscription? Once we have those details, we’ll look into why your account was removed and get things sorted immediately. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re committed to improving our service, and we appreciate the opportunity to make this right. Best regards, Boris FX Team
