Scammers are impersonating Bloomsbury…
Scammers are impersonating Bloomsbury Publishing Plc to target translators. They provide fake phone numbers (+1 239-493-9946, +1 231-390-8990) and direct people to a fraudulent banking site (equinoxebnking.com). They misuse the name of Bloomsbury’s CEO, Nigel Newton, and list a false office at 1359 Broadway, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10018, USA. If you are contacted for translation work under Bloomsbury’s name, verify directly with the official company before engaging.
