Very unpleasant experience with Vernon…
Very unpleasant experience with Vernon Hills store. I have purchase a bottle of nice French white wine about 5 years ago. Just to clarify, I have been buying various wines and spirits from Binny’s for the past 10-15 years. This particular bottle of wine end it up sitting there for several years and when I opened it now and tasted it, it was sour garbage. I called Vernon hills store manager Vince who start research my history and assured me, even though it might have been a year or two since I bought it, he will take care of me by either replacing it or giving me store credit. After finding it in my history and then contacting his boss Katie, he came back with “we can’t do anything for you, since it has been 5 years since I bought it”. I understand you have 30 day return policy, but in this case he should have made an exception. This is just bad customer service in general.
