Beware of Beltway
Beware of Beltway! The owner charges high prices, but hires non-English speaking workers. I needed my landing and surrounding bricks repointed and asked for two spots on my front steps to be repaired. Instead they covered my stone steps with plain cement, resulting in a three week nightmare. They sent three different crews who installed a broken step which had to be removed. The sides were too indented for the steps. Trying to fix that, they made the sides too wide for the steps, making the steps too short. Another crew was supposed to even out the sides with colored cement, used to match many different brick colors. It didn’t match. I wanted mortar to be added between the side bricks. They covered the step risers with colored cement which had to be removed instead of adding mortar between the side bricks. Although the owner repeatedly promised to complete the repairs, nobody returned to complete the job or clean up the mess, including a wheel barrel full of bricks, big buckets of water, various debris and cement dust everywhere, all of which I had to pay to have cleaned and taken away.
