Beginning BallroomAt Beginning Ballroom, we believe learning to dance should be comfortable, enjoyable, and something you'll look forward to doing together.Since 2002, we've been helping people throughout Baltimore and the surrounding Maryland communities discover that dancing isn't just for competitions, performances, or special occasions. It's something real people can learn, enjoy, and carry with them for a lifetime. We specialize in private ballroom dance lessons, wedding first dance lessons, and small group classes, with an approach that's personal, relaxed, and tailored to the people we're teaching. For engaged couples, we help turn that first dance from something to worry about into something to look forward to. Whether you want a simple, natural dance or something more elaborate, we'll help you create a dance that feels comfortable, confident, and genuinely yours. For everyone else, we teach social dancing for the simple pleasure of dancing. From Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, and Rumba to Swing and other popular dances, our goal is to help you feel at home on the dance floor. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all instruction, high-pressure sales, or making learning to dance unnecessarily complicated. We believe in good teaching, patience, humor, and meeting people where they are.Whether you're preparing for a wedding, looking for a fun date night, or finally learning something you've always wanted to try, you're welcome at Beginning Ballroom.Real Dancing for Real People.www.beginningballroom.com

Lee helped develop a personalized dance for us and really gave us the confidence to pull off this dance with a variety of moves we could pull from. He broke down the steps in creative ways that made the dancing easy to understand and fun. He offered feedback even when we didn’t have classes, which was helpful to have in our back pocket. I’d recommend the 10 class course! This really helped make our wedding the best night of our lives!
