Do Not Hire: Incomplete Work, Forced Acceptance, Unregistered Operation
**Do Not Hire: Incomplete Work, Forced Acceptance, Unregistered Operation** Project: Custom WordPress website | Timeline: 11 months Do not hire Appnality. They deliver incomplete work and condition final handover on signing away your rights. WHAT WENT WRONG: 1. Incomplete Deliverables Promised: Training, SOP, proper walkthrough Received: 5-minute overview of one feature, no documentation 2. Forced Acceptance Before Verification They refused to provide files unless I signed a "handover agreement" This form required accepting the project "as-is" and waiving liability I couldn't test or verify anything worked before signing 3. Months of Conditional Delivery Nov-Dec 2025: Refused delivery without new form Dec 26: Paid full amount—still refused Jan-Feb 2026: Lawyer involved—still refused Mar 27: Only released files after lawsuit filed 4. Contract Override When challenged, they claimed "company policy" overrode our written agreement No legitimate business uses internal policy to override client contracts 5. Operating Without California Registration Appnality operates in California but is not registered with the California Secretary of State This affects legal accountability, service of process, and consumer protection 6. Misrepresented Hosting Claimed hosting was "dedicated server" space When asked for proof, could not provide documentation Refunded the $1,550 hosting charge rather than verify the claim Pattern of false promises, not just incomplete deliverables 7. Avoided Service of Process Registered agent address reported vacant by process server Only released files after I informed them of failed service attempt No active registered agent = avoiding legal accountability FOR FUTURE CLIENTS: Get every deliverable (training, SOP, walkthrough scope) specified in writing Do not sign "handover" or "acceptance" forms that weren't in your original agreement Require testing before acceptance—verify everything works independently Do not waive liability before receiving complete, verified deliverables Verify they're properly registered in the state(s) where they conduct business PEOPLE INVOLVED FROM APPNALITY: Will Damir Izzah Harris Mark Daniel Frank William (Head of Dev. & PMO) BOTTOM LINE: The process itself is the problem. Their goal was to deliver incomplete work, then use liability waivers to protect themselves from accountability while avoiding legal service. They operate without proper state registration and misrepresent their services. Do not trust them with your project.
